Pricing
Translation and localization pricing
The price of translation and localization services depends on many different factors. Before we can provide you with a specific advantageous price quotation, we require certain information about the project.
If you tell us the basic parameters of the project (through our Request More Information form, for instance), we will get in touch with you immediately and discuss further details, such as:
- language combination,
- delivery date,
- editing/proofreading requests,
- how much of the text is repeated,
- what format the source text is in,
- what the total amount of text will be,
- whether it is possible to use previous translations.
All of these factors significantly affect the overall cost.
Examples:
Exotic languages are more expensive than common languages. The price also reflects the type and number of editing services necessary for the purpose of the translation. Repetitive text and the format of the source text also have a large effect on the use of CAT tools, and consequently the price.
It is also necessary to agree on what units will be used to measure the translations and localizations. We definitely suggest using the number of source words.
DTP pricing
Desktop publishing is primarily dependent upon:
- the total number of graphic elements,
- the complexity of the graphics,
- the source and target formats of the text.
Having this basic information will allow us to provide you with an accurate price quotation for desktop publishing.
Pricing for interpreting
Upon receiving your completed Request More Information form, we will need to discuss other specifics with you, such as:
- type of interpreting (consecutive or simultaneous),
- the combination of interpreted languages,
- the number of interpreters,
- the nature of the interpreting (business meetings, presentations, etc.),
- the number of interpreting hours needed,
- the number of participants,
- the requirements for interpreting equipment,
- the location of the interpreting.
Our project managers will then prepare a quotation with the details of the given event and the breakdown of individual cost items.
Language course pricing
After receiving your completed Request More Information form, the price of language courses can be determined based on:
- the language taught,
- the type, number, length and frequency of the language courses,
- the required nationality and qualifications of the instructor,
- the teaching materials.
The head of our language school will process and send you a price quotation, which will also include the proposed start date for the course(s), as well as information relating to possible discounts. In order to choose the right instructor, materials, methodology and overall design of the course, it is necessary for us to personally work with you to discuss all the necessary course aspects.
