Why modern technology is necessary when working with text
Our clients’ requirements are simple: reduce the costs and improve the quality of translated texts.
In order to meet these requirements, we need more than just quality translators - we also need modern technological tools and the skills to use them.
Technology for creating, checking and publishing texts
These technologies can be used throughout the entire text preparation process. If their implementation is to be successful, they need to be used in the creation and updating of source texts, especially those of the client's marketing and documentation departments. This process is called authoring and content management. Certain tools can be used during the quality control of the text (quality assurance tools), and others during translation (CAT tools – see localization page). For the finalization of the process, publishing tools are used.
This technology can therefore be used:
- both by our clients (when creating text, updating it and ultimately publishing it),
- as well as by contracted translators during the translation process.

When analyzing text
we use software like Anycount or tools for text analysis that are integrated into CAT tools (SDL Trados, STAR Transit, and Across). As a result, we are able to quickly and accurately provide you with a price quotation, even for very large projects.
With the help of CAT tools
(SDL Trados, STAR Transit or Across), we are able to generate translation memories, so that it is no longer necessary to translate the same sentence twice. Thanks to these software programs, we can deliver translations quickly, cheaply and at a higher quality.
With the help of terminological software
like Multiterm, TermStar or CrossTerm, we are able to ensure that the correct client-provided terminology is used consistently throughout the translation.
With the help of quality assurance software
(e.g. Xbench, QA checker or LTB), we are able to analyze translated text and verify that the same style and terminology are used throughout the entire document.
For some special translations, when the basic requirement is minimum price and a very short time frame, at the client's expressed request, it is possible to use machine translation tools. It must be stressed that the quality of automated translation cannot compare with the quality of "human" translation (with or without the use of CAT tools).
