We’ve recently added state-of-the-art server-based CAT technologies to our toolbox and the need for them has been growing ever since. The principle of this process: Translators collaborating on a large project share a translation memory and termbase in real-time, as if they were sitting next to each other in an office and discussing the proper terms to use. The termbase and translation memory are available to all members of the translation team.
The same sentence does not require a second translation. The system verifies whether the translation is correct even in a different context. By incorporating this new technology into our wide array of solutions, we’re more able than ever to save money for our clients and reduce turnaround time.
