Beyond the screen: Why did we visit our clients in the US?

8. 1. 2026

In the digital age, most things can be handled via email, but we believe that a truly strong partnership requires personal contact. That's why our colleagues from the project team, Barbora Jandlová, Klára Lindnerová, and Daniela Skačanová, traveled to the heart of the United States.

The trip had a clear goal – to get closer to our customers and better understand the specifics of their business.

And what exactly did this trip bring?

More efficient processes in Salt Lake City

The main stop was Salt Lake City, where our most important American partner is based. Right there, we sat down together at the table:

We fine-tuned the details of ongoing projects to match this customer's actual operations.

We looked for ways to streamline translation processes and speed up deliveries without compromising quality.

We deepened our mutual trust, which allows us to tackle even complex challenges with greater ease.

Insight into the American market in Chicago

In Chicago, we met with another long-term partner and visited the local Czech Trade office, which provided us with up-to-date data on:

  • Trends and specifics of the American market.
  • Cultural nuances that are key to high-quality and natural translation.
  • The environment in which our clients operate, which helps us design tailor-made solutions.

"A high-quality translation is not just about words, but above all about understanding people and their culture. When we know your environment, we can be more than just a supplier - we are your true partner," says Daniela Skačanová, Head of Projects at ZELENKA.

Face-to-face meetings allowed us to go much deeper than normal online communication. The experience and information we gained help us better understand our customers' needs and grow professionally together.

We are not just an agency behind a screen. We are a team that is not afraid to go out into the world to be close to you where you need us the most.
